Anatolia İntercultural Organization (AIO) was established in April 2014. ‘’Cultural Diplomacy’’ and ‘’Cultural Adventure’’ are two main slogans and an essential facet of the all AIA projects.

Message from Our Founder
“Welcome! I am the founder of the Anatolian Intercultural Organization (AIO). Since my formative years in Istanbul, I have been interested in all the fascinating cultures around our Globe as expressed through traditional performing, visual, and culinary arts. I longed for a means to promote my Turkish culture and build bridges with other cultures. After completing a BA in International Relations, I studied Business Management in Houston, Texas. After that I had the amazing privilege to work for three and a half years at the Turkish Embassy in Washington, DC in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. During my time in the United States, I learned so much about other cultures, but most importantly I forged lifelong cross-cultural friendships! Through my experiences, I discovered that the exchange of art and culture is a powerful tool in finding common ground and building friendships. My passion is to share this wonderful gift with as many people as possible!
The Anatolian Intercultural Organization, (AIO) established in April 2014. Our motto is: Cultural Diplomacy- Cultural Adventure! Our vision is to help individuals and organizations to connect across cultures by engaging people through networking, intercultural projects, events, and art programs. AIO’s projects create opportunities for audiences in Istanbul, the nation of Turkey, and internationally to learn about other cultures through the eyes of visual, performing and culinary artists as well as other joint collaborations.
